After a successful contest last year, and positive feedback throughout the fall and winter, we are pleased to announce the Second Annual Urban Pharm Urban Farm Contest. The contest starts now, and ends on midnight 7/31/10.

The Contest

Our Kitchen Table (sorry for non-Facebook users) is bringing a few events to the South East Community Association (SECA) as part of their year long Food Diversity Project.

Food Access, Food Justice
When: Tuesday, August 4, 6 pm
What: Malik Kenyatta Yakini, founder and chairman of the Detroit Black Community Food Security Network will be speaking at the SECA building (1408 Madison SE) at 7 pm.
