After a successful contest last year, and positive feedback throughout the fall and winter, we are pleased to announce the Second Annual Urban Pharm Urban Farm Contest. The contest starts now, and ends on midnight 7/31/10.

The Contest

UPDATE 8/6/09: Tanya Walker moved into her home about a year and a half ago. At the time, the yard was nothing more than compacted dirt with the occasional weed. Since then, Tanya has transformed her yard into an urban oasis. She tilled the ground and planted grass. Unlike my grass skills, she was actually able to maintain the lawn and get grass growing. She brought in stones and created walkways and gardens in the front and back yards. A swimming pool and trampoline in the backyard give children in the neighborhood refuge from boredom.
